Unique violet diamond

A rare 2,83-carat violet diamond, discovered in Argyle Diamond Mine, can be sold for more than $4 million in a trade in June 2016. It has polished from the 9.17-carat rough diamond.
The Argyle Diamond Mine, owned by the Rio Tinto Group, is in the East Kimberley region, Western Australia. This mine produces over 90% of the world’s supply of pink and red diamonds. It additionally provides champagne, cognac, and rare blue diamonds.
